Semester Final: Magazine Mockup
This magazine project was the final assignment for my second semester at Georgian College. It represents the culmination of everything I learned in the Design-2 course, showcasing my understanding of magazine layout design, visual hierarchy, typography, alignment, and overall proficiency with Adobe InDesign.

Visual Branding: Brew Buddies
An assignment from my DESIGN 2 class. The instructions were to conceptualize and create a brand sheet for a fictional company from the ground up. This assignment served as a way to combine the different topics learned throughout the semester such as hierarchy, typography, colours, and branding.
Art Rack Assignment
The purpose of this assignment was to create a visually compelling Rack Card for a fictional event assigned by our instructor. The primary focus of the project was to effectively communicate visual hierarchy—ensuring that the most important information stood out clearly to viewers. To achieve this, we were encouraged to thoughtfully apply principles of design, particularly through the use of typography, sizing, layout, and color schemes. This involved making strategic choices about font styles and weights, organizing content in a way that guides the viewer’s eye, and selecting colors that enhance readability and draw attention to key details. Overall, the goal was to develop a professional and engaging piece of event marketing that demonstrated a solid understanding of graphic design fundamentals. For DESIGN 2 class.

In-class Design Challenge: Poster and Ticket
In our DESIGN 2 class, we were assigned to redesign a poster for a music event. The goal was to create a more visually appealing and modern version that fits today’s design trends and styles. We were encouraged to be creative and try new ideas while still keeping the event’s message clear. Along with the poster, we also had to design a matching event ticket that followed the same look and feel. This helped us practice making a consistent and professional design across different materials. Overall, the project helped us improve our design skills and learn how to create strong, eye-catching visuals.
